The Tarlton Theatre is Green Bay's historic hometown, circa-1925 Art Deco drafthouse cinema, club, and performing arts venue.

Boasting the city's biggest original movie screen, a menu of classic and modern American cuisine, and craft beverages at full-service bars, the historic Tarlton Theatre is proud to feature a wide variety of programs and dining options for all members of our community and beyond.

Preserving & Restoring Our Historic Theatre

The Tarlton Theatre is celebrating 100 years since its construction in 1924. Our 501(c)3 nonprofit organization is committed to preserving and restoring our westside showplace. In celebration of the approaching 100-year anniversary, we're asking for your support of our historic preservation and restoration mission.

The Convalescence With Ignominious, The Behest of Serpents & HAUNTER

The historic Tarlton Theatre welcomes The Convalescence (Toledo, OH), Ignominious (Cleveland, OH), The Behest of Serpents (Canton, OH), and HAUNTER (Milwaukee, WI) to our historic stage!


The Convalescence formed as a side project in early 2011, with members from other local Toledo bands. They quickly gained traction after releasing their debut EP "Memories" and embarked on tours and festivals. The band fuses death core with symphonic and black metal influences, incorporating theatrical elements and intense blast beats. They’re toured extensively, sharing stages with renowned bands like Venom Inc, Goatwhore, and Testament. They've also appeared on major festivals like Summer Slaughter and Mayhem Festival.

Midsummer's Music Presents: Eric Lewis and the Griffon String Quartet

Midsummer's Music presents Under the Harvest Moon with Eric Lewis and the Griffon String Quartet on The Tarlton's historic stage!


The Griffon Quartet is a groundbreaking project to enrich the lives of children and adults throughout Northeast Wisconsin through concerts, workshops, and music education outreach. Members of the Quartet include violinists Roy Meyer and Alex Norris, viola Oryann Tsaig, cellist Jesse Nummelin, and guest pianist Rie Tanaka.

Katrina DeVille and the Nobody Famous

Founded in Oshkosh, Wisconsin in 2017, the ten-piece troupe has seen many changes throughout the years, most notably vocalist Katrina deVille coming out as openly transgender in 2025. With her rebirth, the band has taken on a whole new life – one of fierce soul-fire and determination as it claws its way up the rhythm and blues scene. Precisely put by Blues Matters, this group "grabs you by the throat with full clenched fist". Make no mistake about it, this horn heavy super band will get you up on your feet shaking all you got!

Visit a special ceramics edition of the historic Tarlton Theatre's signature Art War, an immersive, interactive live art competition featuring live music!


Watch multiple speed rounds of live, real-time throwing by local potters! Audience members vote by ballot for one finalist per round to move on to the championship round to face off for a $100 cash prize. Finally, stay for an auction of the competition's ceramic pieces and become an art collector!
